Monthly Rental of Benchtop Freeze Dryers for freeze drying trials or short term projects

If you're freeze drying your product for the first time, you may wish to hire freeze drying equipment to conduct trials on your product, before investing in capital equipment. Or if your existing freeze dryer requires service or repair, then hiring equipment will avoid interruption to your process. 

 

If you subsequently decide to purchase a new freeze dryer, we can offset some of the hire cost against a new LyoDryFreeze Dryer, whether it's a benchtop freeze dryer, or a larger capacity freeze dryer.

  • How much does it cost to rent a freeze dryer? Please see our Freeze Dryer rental price list (below)

 

  • What is the minimum hire period? One month
     

  • What products can I freeze dry in your rental models?  Our rental freeze dryers are suitable for freeze drying a wide range of products including foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, soil samples, flower petals etc – provided that the freezing point of the product is between ambient and -50°C.
     

  • Do your rental models include pre-freezing? Our benchtop freeze dryer rental models do not include pre-freeze. Samples must be pre-frozen externally before loading them to the freeze dryer. Customers usually pre-freeze in an external freezer, or snap freeze in liquid nitrogen.

 

  • How long does the freeze-drying process take? A rough guide is 24-48 hours but this varies depending upon the moisture content and density of your samples. The best way to find out is by conducting your own trials.
     

  • Do you deliver? Yes
     

  • Do you offer training? Yes, on-site setup and basic operator training is provided and operator manuals are available for download.
     

  • What is the availability of rental freeze dryers? Rental models are limited and always in demand. They are offered on a first come, first served basis, secured by payment of the proforma invoice.
     

  • How do I go about renting a freeze dryer? Please contact us for a quotation or any further information.

FREEZE DRYER HIRE COSTS

We will deliver to and collect from your UK address. We can also provide on-site set up and basic operator training for an additional fee - recommended if you have no experience of freeze drying.

 

The minimum hire period is one month, and the cost depends upon your required duration.
