The LyoDry Compact Benchtop Freeze Dryer is a high end, low cost, lab freeze dryer, used and endorsed by universities, government research institutes, pharmaceutical, food & beverage laboratories, throughout the UK and overseas.

The latest generation LyoDry Compact Benchtop Freeze Dryer has a 5Kg ice condenser capacity, and condenser temperature options of either -55°C, or -85°C for low temperature freeze drying. Hot gas defrost and a user-friendly, digital display are included as standard. (For added functionality including data logging and analyis, USB and ethernet comms, see the LyoDry Benchtop Pro).
The LyoDry Compact is modular, with a wide choice of drying chambers to suit your sample type, process and budget. We also supply and support the recommended vacuum pump if required, or will be pleased to advise whether your existing vacuum pump is suitable.

LyoDry Freeze Dryers are UK designed, manufactured and supported, and conform to the latest environmental standards, manufactured by F-Gas certified engineers using CFC free refrigeration gas. LyoDry Freeze Dryers are designed to have fast cool down times, helping to minimise energy consumption and maximise life expectancy.
The LyoDry Compact is a popular choice for a broad range of applications, including pharmaceutical and food research and development, with temperature and drying chamber options to suit all types of processes, whether you are drying bulk samples, in flasks or ampoules.
LyoDry Compact was originally designed to directly replace the Edwards EF4 Modulyo® benchtop freeze dryer, but today incorporates the latest advances in freeze drying technology. Its polished, stainless steel cabinet is ideal for R&D laboratories and food preparation environments where space is limited. Add a purpose-built, stainless steel trolley for ultimate convenience.
Lyodry Compact has a condenser capacity of 5Kg and condenser temperature options of either:

CONTROL
The LyoDry Compact features a clear, bright LCD display, visible even from a distance. Simple commands allow the operator to view vacuum units in millibar, Torr or pascal and temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. System status is obvious, even at a glance. The vacuum pump can be controlled on-screen, and the user is prompted to do this when the condenser reaches temperature.

Includes 24 ports, mounted radially around column with removable neoprene valves, each of which can be fitted with a flask of up to 1 litre capacity (flasks not supplied). A manifold sealing gasket is provided to seal the base.
